Our Process
01.
Connect and Consult
This is where we get to know each other. We'll talk about your vision, your style, and the kind of story you want to tell. I'll answer any questions, and we'll create a custom plan that fits your family, your event, or your vision.
02.
Design your session
Once we've got the plan, we'll design the details. We'll choose the perfect location, discuss wardrobe ideas, and set the tone so you feel confident and excited.
03.
The Photoshoot
This is the fun part! On the day, I'll guide you through natural, relaxed poses, but also let you be yourselves. We'll capture both candid moments and beautifully composed shots.
04.
Deliver and Enjoy
After the shoot, I'll carefully edit your images and deliver a stunning gallery. You'll be able to download, share, and cherish these memories for years to come.
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
For a standard one-hour session you can expect to receive at least 50 edited images back.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time for a newborn session is usually within the first two weeks of life. During this time, babies are more sleepy, flexible and still have those sweet, curled-up poses. If possible, we'll aim for that window to make sure to capture those precious early days.
How should we dress for our family session?
Outfits depend on location and session type but I always recommend coordinating colors but avoid being too matchy. Choose a color palette with a few complementary tones- think soft neutrals, pastels, or earthy shades. Most importantly, keep it comfortable so you can relax and be yourselves.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Of course, that's completely okay! My job is to guide you every step of the way- I'll help you feel relaxed, give you prompts, and make sure we capture your natural, authentic self. By the end, you'll feel much more comfortable in front of the camera.
